terms of service

These Terms of Service govern your use of lacreatespace.com and the La Create Space client portal (the “Services”), operated by La Create Space in Inglewood, Los Angeles, California. By using the Services you agree to these terms. If you use them for a company, you confirm you can accept these terms on its behalf.

Proposals and quotes in the portal describe the work we recommend and its price. A quote is valid for 30 days from when it is sent unless it says otherwise.

Accepting a proposal in the portal records your approval. The work itself is governed by the services agreement you sign afterward, which sets out the deliverables, schedule, payment terms, cancellation and rescheduling. If the services agreement and these terms conflict, the services agreement controls.

Invoices are issued and paid through Square under Square’s terms. Deposits, balances and due dates are set in your services agreement. Late or missed payments may pause work or delivery.

We sign you in with a one-time email link or code, or with Google. Keep access to your email secure; anyone who can read it may be able to sign in as you. You can add colleagues to a proposal — they can view it and request changes, and only the main client contact can accept it.

Tell us right away at hello@lacreatespace.com if you believe your account has been used without permission.

Don’t misuse the Services. In particular, don’t:

• access projects or data that aren’t yours, or try to get around our security;
• upload anything unlawful, infringing or harmful, or anything you don’t have the right to share;
• interfere with the Services, scrape them, or use them to send spam.

We may suspend access that breaks these rules.

You keep ownership of materials you give us, such as logos, brand assets and briefs, and you let us use them to do your project.

Ownership of and licenses to the work we create for you are set out in your services agreement. Unless it says otherwise, we may show completed work in our portfolio and on social media.

The website, its design, text, photos and the La Create Space name and marks belong to La Create Space and may not be copied without permission.

Some features rely on other services, such as Google, Square and email providers. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we aren’t responsible for their availability. How we handle data from these services is described in our Privacy Policy.

The website and portal are provided “as is” and “as available.” We work to keep them accurate and running, but we don’t promise they will be uninterrupted or error-free. Commitments about your project are made in your services agreement.

To the fullest extent the law allows, La Create Space is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use of the website or portal, and our total liability for claims about the website or portal is limited to $100. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, and liability for project work is governed by your services agreement.

We may update these terms; the new version applies once posted here with a new effective date. We may suspend or end access to the Services for misuse. You can stop using them at any time.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California.
